Creativity as a complex concept has been approached from various angles. Over one hundred different analyses of creativity can be found in the literature. The majority of the researchers in the specific research field define creativity as "the process of producing a work, of any kind, that is significant and original". Creativity is a human ability that enables people to survive and evolve. However, limited research has been conducted on creativity in the context of health care. Creativity, as the ability to produce work that is innovative and appropriate, seems to play a very important role in the therapeutic process. Health professionals show increased vulnerability, as they are exposed to work stress, "compassion fatigue", burnout, etc., and need self-care. The cultivation of their mental well-being is related to creative awareness and its importance in the practice of health professions. According to the creative clinical practice model, creative clinical practice is achieved through the combination of the use of self, a culture of engagement in creative projects, and self-care.

Key words: Clinical practice, Creativity, "Compassion fatigue", Well-being.
